Tuition

Here at Narborough Trout Lakes we can offer tuition for all types of angler, whether beginner or just in need of improvement.

Our friendly staff will take you through all the technique needed to land that elusive fish, and for the more advanced angler we have a resident Salmon & Trout Association APGAI professionally qualified instructor who can help improve your cast and teach you how to present the fly perfectly.

Other lessons can include entomology, fly tying and spey casting.

Keep an eye out on our events page to see when Salmon & Trout Association sponsored group days and junior days are coming up. They are great fun and even better value!

Jonathan Tomlinson is a S.T.A.N.I.C qualified fly fishing instructor and travels throughout the country on both lessons and fly fishing demonstrations. Former England Youth Team Captain, Jonathan is highly personable and can teach fly casting from basic to advanced, stillwater stalking, saltwater fly fishing, entomology and fly tying. A regular contributor to "Trout Fisherman" magazine, Jonathan will be more than happy to share some of the helpful hints and tips he's learned along the way. Click here to visit his website

 

Tim Gaunt-Baker is one of East Anglia's leading Fly Fishing instructors. A member of "Association of Advanced Professional Game Angling Instructors" or "A.P.G.A.I" Tim teaches all around the country from beginner to advanced covering all aspects of fly fishing including basic to advanced casting, spey casting, pike and bass on the fly, entomology and fly tying. A member and contributor of the Salmon & Trout Association, Tim also does demonstations at country and tackle shows actively encouraging youngsters and adults into the sport.
