We have three fly lakes and a trout stream for fly anglers and we also have two coarse lakes stocked with varied fish from tench to carp.

Fly Fishing Rules

  • Dressed fly length no longer than 1 1/2 inches
  • Minimum braking strain of leader 4lb (6lb on Willow)
  • Hook size no larger than size 8 short shank
  • No catch & Release allowed on Willow or the Stream
  • No Catch & Release on a Catch & Kill Ticket (With exception of Willow Tickets which allows c&r on Ashford and Foresters)
  • Barbless hooks only on Catch & Release ticket
  • Fish should be released without removing from the water on a Catch & Release ticket with minimal hand contact
  • If fish do not recover sufficiently for release they should be killed and paid for at prevailing rate
  • No Boobies to be used on Catch & Release
  • No droppers to be used on Catch & Release
  • Spinners are not allowed anywhere on site
  • Groundbait and Livebait are not permitted on trout lakes
  • Regard for others and their enjoyment of the fishery must be respected at all times

 

Anyone found in serious breach of fishery rules or generally misconducting themselves are liable to be ejected
