Narborough
Trout & Coarse Lakes are part of a working trout farm providing
top quality fish of all sizes for stocking sporting fisheries or
supplying prime fresh or smoked fish for the commercial or private
table.
Situated in a most beautiful part of the
Nar Valley, the farm and lakes lie in natural water meadows. Here
at Narborough Trout & Coarse Lakes we provide the experienced
fisherman with challenging sport. The choice of fishing either lake
or stream in these surroundings rewards the enthusiastic angler
with exciting sport and the chance to catch quality fish.
The pure clear water of the River Nar which
has been declared a Site of Special Scientific Interest, (SSSI),
on account of the purity of the water, supplies our five separate
lakes with an abundance of natural food to sustain the fish in first
class sporting condition. While providing ideal fishing, the grassy
areas add to the beauty of the surrounding countryside which is
teeming with natural wildlife. It provides quiet secluded picnic
areas and space for tranquil relaxation. Beginners are most welcome,
our friendly staff are always available and are pleased to help
or advise practiced fishermen and beginner alike so you will quickly
experience the excitement of landing a fish.
