Rules
for BIG FISH DAY 2008
Gates
open at 8:00am. Please assemble at 9:00am for a 9:30am start
1.
Single flies/lures only may be used. We suggest leader/tippet strength
of at least 6lbs.
2.
Two-handed retrieve is banned.
3.
Upon catching a trout the Competitor must move to another available
swim on the lake. All moves must be clockwise.
4.Competitors
are restricted to the first
3 fish that they catch. There-after they
must stop fishing on Willow. They may however go on to the other
lakes and fish catch & release until the competiton's conclusion
at 16:30
5.
The competition will be divided into two sessions – 9:30 to
12:30, and 13:30 to 16:30. The lunch break, during which no one
is allowed to fish, will be from 12:30 to 13:30.
6.
Please be considerate to other competitors and don’t crowd
each other.
7.
If any decision has to be made the adjudicators’ decision
will be final.
N.B.
The verges will be wet and slippery. We have done a lot of deepening.
PLEASE EXERCISE EXTREME CAUTION.
